First of all one should go for blood test to know the sugar level. Blood taken after 12 hours fast in the morning, known as Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS). Blood taken after 2 hours of heavy meal (lunch or breakfast), known as Post Prandial Blood Sugar (PPBS).
